Corvallis Fall Festival Walk
5 km. (3.1 miles) or 10 km. (6.2 miles), both rated easy.
This walk has two 5 km. loops: do one or both.
Corvallis is celebrating its 45th Annual Fall Festival with many activities in Central Park. The two 5 km. loops feature the festival, beautiful historic homes, a colorful, thriving downtown, and the historic Benton County Courthouse.
Carpools leave the Willamalane Adult Activity Center, 215 West C Street in Springfield, at 8 a.m. and return there about 2:30 p.m. Each rider pays the driver $5 to help cover car expenses. Carpoolers will have the option of buying from the food vendors at the festival or choosing a Corvallis restaurant to have lunch together; regardless, lunch arrangements are always optional for each rider/walker.
People traveling to Corvallis on their own should plan to meet the carpoolers at about 9 a.m. at the walk's start point, the Corvallis Skate Park at SW 2nd and B Streets in downtown Corvallis. Or, they can do the walk on their own, starting from the skate park anytime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
